  About The Show

One of the BBC's most famous children sitcoms, ChuckleVision has been running since 1987.In it's first two series, in 1987 and 1988, it had a different format. Paul and Barry, the Chuckle Brothers, presented a show on Saturday mornings on a selection of topics.

In 1989, the format changed to showing Paul and Barry doing various jobs and always getting into trouble.

There is a character who appears lots of times called No Slacking. He is Paul and Barry's boss and real-life brother. He always goes ripping when they cause problems in their work! Paul and Barry do some of their jobs for someone called Dan The Van. Dan has not been seen on the show, and is only mentioned.

A big change of direction came to ChuckleVision in 2002. The type of movement in the show changed, and outtakes began to be shown in the end credits.

But ChuckleVision is not the only show Paul and Barry have done. In 1985, two years before ChuckleVision began life, they did a show called 'ChuckleHounds' in which they dressed up as fluffy dogs. From 1996 to around 200, they did a game show called 'To Me, To You' echoing their ChuckleVision phrase. Paul and Barry also do pantomines evry year.
